Iris is a tribute to our Earth. The color palette chosen, in line with 2022 trends, is reminiscent of natural elements and the many shades of rainbows. Light graylike ice on water and white like snow, golden yellow like the light of the sun, emerald green like the trees reflected in the lake, red/mahogany like the barks of trees, very pery like the heather still in bloom. The hair looksalternate classic romantic waves with braided lengths and bold cuts. The various styles blend harmoniously together, portrayed as if set in a timeless place.

THE GODDES

In Greek mythology Iris was the messenger of the Gods. The rainbow goddess was a beautiful, sweet young girl with fine traits, adorned in iridescent drops forming her chitons. Her colorful clothes would leave a richly-colored trail in the sky as she passed and formed a rainbow. She would then use it to send her messages, reaching the Earth from the Olympus. Hellenic sailors considered Iris the patron goddess of good weather, the consort of the Wind from the West and the mother of Eros, the god of love.

THE FLOWER

This wonderful flower was given this name precisely because its vast range of natural hues is reminiscent of those of the rainbow. Each one of its colors has a special meaning: purple is regarded as a symbol of knowledge, white stands for purity and blue for faith and hope.

LIGHT

Light and its refraction are the heart of the collection, the element that brings colors to life, produces mirror-like effects on water and is reflected on snow, creating a magical atmosphere.

THE RAINBOW

Iris is light, in its shapes, its colors and its refraction. Iris reflects the world through our eyes, a world of colors and pristine nature. This is how rainbows are created, an optical and weather phenomenon that produces light as sunlight passes through drops of water, generating a colorful bridge from the earth to the sky. According to an old Irish legend, there is a pot full of gold at the end of a rainbow. The legend has it that there is a leprechaun guarding it to prevent those who don’t deserve the treasure from taking it.
